Happy Wednesday! These week's The Card Concept challenge is a Red, White & Blue theme (scroll down for theme graphic) and I'm pairing it up with some fun sets from Sweet 'n Sassy stamps!
I am using the Blessings in Disguise set for those great Dandelions and I colored them in with Copics.
Sorry for the darker photo here, but I wanted to show that shimmer. After coloring the flower parts, I just quickly and randomly went over some spots with a Sakura Stardust pen for some silver shimmer & "light"… it really makes the flowers stand out without taking away from the red & blue theme!
In trying to keep the card kind of lighthearted and simple, I chose a small sentiment but stamped it on a banner so it wouldn't get "lost". The sentiment is from the Encouraging Thoughts set (which is the May Stamp of the Month, free with your order of $75 order).
