Happy Thursday! This week's Krafty Chicks Challenge is Christmas!!! For my card this week I paired some Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps and Julee's Mojo sketch! This set is called All Wrapped Up.
After a bajillion years of stamping, one of my favorite things still, is this… I can't even think of what it's called anymore, but you know when your image peeks out from the die shape? See those packages up top and the lower corner? Anyway, I stamped the tall stack of presents and colored them in with copics. I fussy the tippy top and that bottom left corner then I ran it through with my stitched circle die.
I also stamped another larger prezzie, colored it with Copics and a Gold Sharpie paint pen, cut it out and popped it up on top.
Finally I stamped my sentiment on a smaller stitched circle and added a loopy twine bow! I love working on these Christmas cards a little at a time each month! I really struggle when I have to make several of anything all at one time (50 Christmas cards, etc.), this way I make 1 or 2 and put all of the Christmas papers, etc away until next month!
That's all I've got for ya, be sure to check out what the rest of the Chicks have been up to,
Lori, Leanne, Nance and our Krafty Guest Laurie!
And don't forget to link up your creation at the Hen House!
Nicely done, and I like that technique as well when you use a circle die and fussy cut. Awesome card! Hugs, L:)
