KCC: January Week 2 challenge, Christmas!

Happy Thursday!  This week's Krafty Chicks challenge is CHRISTMAS (every 2nd Thursday we do Christmas cards).  For my card this week I grabbed some TRHD goodies and paired them up with Julee's current Mojo Sketch!

I am so in love with this CAFFEINATED REINDEER stamp & coord die (The Rabbit Hole Designs), and I'm pretty sure I NEED a robe with candy canes on it!  The paper pad I used is SUGAR PLUM (My Minds Eye).  For the image panel I also used a scalloped panel die and lined it up so it just cut the right-most edge.

I colored up that cutie with Copics, and inked the sentiment in LEAD ink along the edge.  Unless I actually have black on my cards I really like LEAD ink (super dark gray) for sentiments better… call me weird!  Anyway… I used a Christmas Tree die (very old from Verve) along with some "Coffee" ribbon & a pink button/twine and then some really old blue ribbon (I think from Stampin' Up a million years ago?) along the top!  I feel like I haven't made a card in so long (with the holidays & all) it felt great to get a little inky today!!
