KCC: #469, A Cozy Color Palette

Hello! Happy Thursday!!  I'm this week's hostess over at the Krafty Chicks Challenge and our theme twist is this fabulous color palette!

Don't cha just LOVE those colors?!?!?!???  This is very close to the color palette in my Master Bedroom… so "spa-y".  I paired up those great colors with Julee's current Mojo sketch (you can scroll to the bottom of the post to see her sketch).

I have been dieing to play with some paints so I grabbed a few Shimmerz colors and got busy!!!  First I die cut my watercolor paper panel with the Postage Stamp die (SugarPea Designs).  Then I "smooshed" the Celery Shimmerz in the middle-ish. 

I also "smooshed" a little Peacock Plume Shimmerz on a scrap piece of watercolor paper, dried it and then stamped my sentiment.  The sentiment is from the Coffee Break stamp set (Inky Antics).  There was still a little too much white showing for me, so I splattered some Coffee Shimmerz on both the main panel and the tag.

I had this stitched circle in tan laying around on my table so I stamped it with the "cup stain stamp" from the Coffee Break stamp set and added a Dotz, from the Spring Love Dotz set (Shimmerz).  It was still a little too "bare" for me, so I added some twine behind my circle cluster (oh yeah, and I added a scalloped circle in Dark Roast cs behind the stitched circle coffee stain).
