Happy Thursday! Happy New Challenge day!! For this week's challenge I made a tag, just a simple tag and a little mixed media fun!
First I just sponged on some Distress Ink (Faded Jeans, Story Sky and Wilted Violet). It looked a little dark so I added a bit of Tumbled Glass and that lightened it up just enough! Next I used a starry sky stencil and some Translucent Embossing Paste (Wendy Vecchi) and topped that with some silver glitter.
The sentiment is from a retired set called COUNT YOUR RAINBOWS (Reverse Confetti). I stamped it in white pigment ink (Gina K Designs, has the BEST pigment ink!!!) and embossed it with some white ep. Those fluttery hearts are one of my favorite dies ever!!! They are part of the XOXO Hearts die set (Reverse Confetti). Oh yeah, add a splash of ribbons & a button… voila! This probably won't go on a gift, but I'll probably hide it in a stack of something for my daughter so she finds it when she gets the stack home :-) That's it for, be sure to check out what the rest of the Chicks have been up to,
