7KCC: The Dog Days of Summer

It's time for another challenge over at 7 Kids Crafts!  This time the challenge is the DOG DAYS OF SUMMER.  You have until August 20th to play along.

For my card I used SUNSHINE,  (Whimsy Stamps) and her cute lil' puppy.  For the center piece I used the FLOWING DROPS stencil (Altenew) and a couple of Distress Inks.  I sponged up another tag, no stencil this time then used some "splash" dies.  Using pop-dots, I popped these up for some extra dimension. 

The paper pad I used is MERMAID KISSES (Julie Nutting for Prima), one of the sheets in the pad has several sentiments, etc. so I used a die and cut one out (Hello Beautiful).  I also added a bit of chunky lime green glitter for a little shimmery.  Well, that's all I've got for ya, be sure to head on over to the 7 Kids Crafts FB page to see what the rest of the DT has created and to link up your creation, there's a $20 store credit up for grabs!!
