Today I kicked the boys out of the house, grabbed a big 'ol cuppa Cold Brew, turned on Harry Potter and got busy in my loft!!!! I had 3 goals in mind for getting crafty today and I managed to complete 2! This lil' Piggy is one of them, I grabbed this month's SFYTT on the Reverse Confetti blog, the CURED Stamp & Die sets (if you ever wonder if you really "need" the coordinating dies… trust me, you DO! They're awesome!!)… and had some fun!! I fell head over heels the first time I saw this cute piggy set! I colored him with Copics and popped him on top of the smaller tag from the Tag Me dies.
Those 2 floating hearts at the top are from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts. I LOVE the way these hearts look! They were a little too plain in just the Salsa cardstock so I took the heart from Arrows & Elements (which I think is now retired) and stamped it in Salsa ink, and sprinkled a few dots from my white Sharpie Paint pen… just a few! For the "Hogs & Kisses" sentiment, I stamped it with Midnight ink, let me tell you this is a gorgeous black!!!
And because I just couldn't stop myself, I decorated the inside too! I stamped the other piggy, colore him in Copics (used the awesome piggy dies) and added the "XOXO" from the XOXO Hearts Confetti Cuts.
The hearts above his head are the heart from Arrows & Elements, stamped in Salsa (and 2nd & 3rd gen stamped). Well, I think that's enough blabbering from me 🙂 Thanks for popping by, hope to see you again! Oh, here's the SFYTT sketch…
