Oh my goodness this day is FINALLY here!!!! I am so excited to announce Kraftin Kimmie's first ever KRAFTY SKRAPPY challenge! Whether you scrap, pocket page, make altered items or don't scrap but may want to give it a shot… this is for YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! To kick off this new challenge Kraftin Kimmie Stamps is having a FLASH RELEASE! We are releasing SCRAPBOOK ELEMENTS!, a MUST HAVE set with tons of fabulous elements perfect for cards, Pocket Scrap cards, Scrapbook pages and sooooo much more! Oh, and did I mention… this set is available NOW in the Kraftin Kimmie Store!
For my project today I paired up the new SCRAPBOOK ELEMENTS! set along with some fabulous wedding themed papers & elements from Simple Stories, The Story of US and got busy on some pictures from DD's recent Engagement Party!
For the first page, I grabbed a couple of the sentiments from the set.
The first I stamped in GOLD ink on a black banner, then embossed with clear EP and paired it up with a heart!
Next up, I stamped the other sentiment in some black ink and used one of my Stitched Rectangle dies… LOVE this look!! I used the same Stitched Rectangle die and some "wood" paper for my journaling box (sorry, yall don't get to see the sappy words I'm going to add). There's a splash of some old-ish antique white ribbon at the top and that "gold looking" banner at the top is another set of dies I used. I also added a splash of Washi tape… I couldn't be happier with the way this page came together!!! Oh and those shirts… Yup, I made those and they wore them for the fireworks show after the party 😉
For the 2nd page I took several of the pictures and had them printed smaller. For this page I grabbed some of the "element" stamps from the set. I stamped the Heart Geo Tag in the same gold ink/clear ep twice, adding an "A" and a "V" (their initials). Then I stamped a couple of "chat bubbles' in black ink and add then to my Journaling pieces.
I am so in LOVE with how this turned out! You can check out some of my other Kraftin Kimmie Scrapping pages >here< and some KKS Project Life/pocket cards >here<. Well that's all I have for now, thanks for popping by! Hope to see you again soon, and don't forget to swing by the KKS Blog for more inspiration, challenge deets and to link up your scrappy creation
Oh what a beautiful layout, I love this. Fabulous.
