It's time for TRHD's April Release Hop. We are releasing 5 new stamp sets, 3 coordinating dies and 2 stencils, and they're all available NOW in the store. I paired up the NEW Triangle Mosaic stencil with some of our Scripty Word dies to make some fun tags!
There are so many fun things you can do with stencils and I decided to try a few. First off I grabbed a couple of different tags and cut 1 each in black and then in white. For the first 2 tags (below) I tried some embossing glitter. For the white tag I used the Distress Embossing Dauber over the stencil to get embossing ink all over the tag, then covered the bottom half with some Pink Embossing glitter and the top half with some green and heat embossed. Then I added the Scripty Word die YOU, and stamped and added the sentiment from the Scripty You stamp set. For the black tag I did similar, but I put a piece of washi tape across the middle at a diagonal, then added the embossing dauber. Next, I pulled off the washi and added the embossing glitter and heat embossed. I added the Scripty LOVE word die and a sentiment from the Scripty Love stamp set. Finally I added ribbon and a button to the tops of both.
For my last 2 tags, I tried something else. For the white tag, I simply blended a few colors of Distress Oxide ink over the whole tag, then added the Scripty HUGS word die and the sentiment from the Scripty Hugs stamp set. For the black tag, I made a reverse mask and placed of over my tag then layered my stencil on top. I went over the heart opening with some Distress Oxide Ink then went over it again with the Distress Dauber and finally some Clear embossing powder and heat embossed! The result is soooooo fantastic! I added a Scripty HELLO word die and the sentiment from the Scripty Hello stamp set. Finally adding some ribbon to the tops of both. These were so fun and easy to create and I just love the variety all from 1 stencil!
