Happy Sunday! I'm up on the TRHD blog today with this simple card using one of the new sets from the March release. This set is called Sail & Soar, and is available now.
I wanted to do some playing with the Distress Embossing Glazes, so I decided to glaze-up that airplane. I colored in just the darker areas on the wings and propeller with a BG18 Copic marker, I was hoping this would give me some shading. The rest of the plane I left white/untouched.
Next up, I went over the "red" star part with a Distress Embossing pen, they come in a 2 pack and I used the brush pen. Then I added some Distress Crackling Campfire Embossing Glaze, and heat embossed. Once it was cooled off, I "colored" in the rest of my plane with that same brush pen and then covered it with some Distress Speckled Egg Embossing Glaze and again heat embossed. My plane now has this fantastic water colored glaze look to it! I perfect addition of some texture!
