You’re the String to my Balloon… | The Rabbit Hole Designs, February Release

It's day three of TRHD's February Release Hop.  We are releasing 3 new stamp sets with coordinating dies, 1 word die with Shadow layer and 1 hot foil plate, and they're all available NOW in the store.  I used this adorable pair from Balloon Party and paired them up with some of our Spring Floral paper.

I started off stamping and die cutting my image, first on my coloring paper and then again on the patterned paper.  I cut around the colored bunny's front arm and leg so that they'd lay on top of the floral whale, it sounds silly but it really does make a difference up close. I also added a black rhinestone for the whales eye.  I adhered my whale to my card front with foam tape and then stamped my bottom sentiment.

Next up I stamped and die cut 2 sets of balloons, these I colored in Copics.  Now typically, I finish up all of my pieces before laying out the card and adding my sentiments is very last, but I needed to place all of those ribbons, so I adhered as I created.  I taped some ribbons to the backs of both balloon sets, then adhered with more foam tape.

I also taped some of the ribbon ends to the back of bunny's hand, and using glue dots stuck the other ribbon ends down.  I absolutely love the fun and whimsy that this card turned out to be!  Be sure to check out what some of the others created with this fun release!
