We're at the tail end of release week, and it's flown by! hahahahahaha, see what I did there?! We're back with the 5th Caffeinated Critter to release this month, this is Caffeinated Vulture… and I colored him up with some fun fall colors.
Today was one of those I just wanted to play with ink! Lots and lots of ink and color! I started off with some ink blending on my panel. I used Distress inks in Abandoned Coral, Wilted Violet and Spiced Marmalade. Once I had that done I took some Black Soot Oxide and blended the edges.
Next I colored up my Vulture. I didn't want to do gray, but I wanted to try to get some fall colors in there, so I stuck to orange-y reds and colored his body with the V90's Copics… love that purple/gray! I'm so happy with the way the Fall colors came out… warm and still kinda bright and cheery! The #DeadBeforeCaffeine sentiment is from the Vulture stamp set.
The bottom sentiment is from the Blended Sentiments 2 set. Finally I added a few sequins from the TRHD stash (did you know that when you place an order with TRHD you get some free sequins? They come in sooooooooooooo handy!).
