The Rabbit Hole Designs October Release Hop, Day 2 | A new artist is in da house!

Happy Release week!  It's day 2 of The Rabbit Hole Design's October release.  There are 4 new stamp sets, 2 new dies, 8 hot foil plates and a 2 layered stencil, and they are all available in the TRHD Store right now!  For my card today I used the NEW Clarence Coffee stamp set (there is also a coordinating die!) and the Nutty 2 Layers stencil.

Let's start off with the stencil piece (which is technically the inside of the card).  I started off by placing the 1st layer of the stencil (which is the peanut shape), using a Bitty Bunny Blending Brush I quickly brushed on some white pigment ink.  Next, leaving the stencil in place and using another Bitty Brush I added some brown Oxide ink, right over the white.  

By adding the white layer first it really made my peanuts pop!  I carefully pulled up the stencil, then positioned the 2nd layer and taped in place.  Using another Bitty Brush I added my 3rd ink, a dark brown Oxide.  I trimmed the blue cs and adhered it to my peach/orange base.

Now for the top layer… I stamped Clarence, colored him up with Copics and cut him out.  I also stamped the peanut images on some brown cs and cut them out.  A piece of Vellum serves as the card top here, I made it smaller than the base so that some of those peanuts from the inside would show through better.  Once the Vellum was adhered, I added Clarence with some foam tape.  I also added one of the peanuts with foam tape and one adhered directly to the Vellum.  I stamped the sentiment in brown on the Vellum and Voila!
