The Rabbit Hole Designs September Release Hop, Day 3

Happy Wednesday!  It's the last day of peeks for The Rabbit Hole Design's September release.  There are 8 new stamp sets with 8 coordinating dies, an uppercase alpha set, a lowercase alpha set and 4 stencils, and they are all available in the TRHD Store right now!  For my card today I used the NEW Birthday Word die & Shadow and the NEW Birthday stamp set.

First of all, would you just LOOOOOOK at that alcohol ink panel!!!!  Is it not the most gorgeous thing ever?!?!?!?!?  A few weeks ago Niccole asked the DT to send her a 2 or 3 color palette we liked, of course I said "pink & green and maybe gold".  THIS is what I got!!!!  WOW-o-WOW-o-WOW!!!!  Let me tell you, it took a lot of staring and gazing at this beauty before I could even imagine doing anything to it to turn it in to a card!  Finally I got up the courage and used it for this card.  

I know there is a name for this technique, but I can't remember what it is.  So here's the scoop of what I did… First off I used the BIRTHDAY scripty die and cut the word from my inked panel, then I carefully set those die cut letters aside.  I grabbed some white cs and die cut the word 2 more times.  I adhered both white cs words in the negative left behind on the ink panel, then I added the word die cut from the ink panel on top.  It raises it enough to be able to see it, but not quite as high as foam tape and the layers are solid. I finally added the sentiment from the Birthday Scripty stamp set to the top and added a couple of enamel dots.  Pictures just do not do this alcohol panel justice!
