Happy Wednesday! Hope you've been enjoying your holidays. I'm up on the TRHD Blog with this fun split card.
I started off with an 8.5" x 11" piece of cardstock, then scored it at 2.5" and 6.75" (I wanted the bottom piece to be smaller than the top, but you could easily flip it or split it in the middle). I used a die for the curvy edges, but you could just as easily draw/trace what you wanted and cut out by hand. Next, the fun stuff…
I'm using the Pretty in Peony stamp set for a simple Notecard. I laid out my flowers and stem pieces to get the look I wanted and then stamped them all as well as the sentiment. I colored everything with Copics.
Finally, using a glue pen I went over both edges and then added some WOW Metallic Silver glitter. I also added a silver twine ribbon to help keep the card closed and since it has a little elastic it easily slips on and off!
