Happy Thursday yall! I am hostessing again this week for The Krafty Chicks Challenge. This week's challenge twist is a SKETCH, and not just any sketch, but a super-d-duper, fantastically amazing, holy-snickerdoodles-WOW! sketch from Julee Tilman (the brilliant creator behind the Mojo Monday sketches!) Julee has so kindly let us "recycle" one of her older sketches.
For my card this week I used this ONE MORE CHAPTER set (Three Room Studio). I am a HUGE sucker for books & reading and I LOVE the sentiments and images in this set.
Here's a "funny" story… a bajillion years ago the FAB Enabler, Amy Tsuruta, shared the COFFEE paper pad (Echo Park)… of course I just HAD to have it!!!! I used it on a couple of projects and then it disappeared!!!! Seriously, I was sure it had run away!!! 2 days ago, I was going through a pile of cooking/recipe mags and low and behold… my COFFEE pad!!!! So, I put it to work on today's card!!!! I may need to attach one of those "location/tracking" devices to this paper pad!
So I stamped the cup on some patterned paper and then stamped the "steam" with some Gina K white pigment ink (I swear she has the BEST pigments inks I've ever tried!!!). It looks just like real steam, doesn't it?!?!?!?! RIGHT?!?!?!? wink, wink
I am pretty sure I say that line EVERY day!!! hahaha. Well this was a simple card that was quick to "whip up", I can't wait to use this set to create more goodies (I already have several ideas!).
