Happy Wednesday! This is the last Card Concept challenge for the Summer, but we will be back in the Fall!
For my card this week I went with the colors and that Cacti in the lower right. I really don't like much about Cactus/Succulents except for the fantastic blend of colors… seriously, look at the purple to green or the pinky-red to bright green! This week I went with a really CAS layout. I used the MORE THAN YOU KNOW digital set (Graciellie Designs).
First off I used some Washi tape. I layed out strips of that stripped Washi on some white cs, instead of lining up the stripes, I staggered them… LOVE this look! Then I used both of the POSTAGE STAMP dies to create a frame. Tell me the colors of that Washi aren't PERFECT?!?!?!!!!!
Since this was a digital image I was able to size it exactly the way I wanted it! I printed it off on my Inkjet printer along with the sentiment, then colored in the basket of flowers with Copics. Easy Peasy!
