Good morning & Happy Thursday! It's time for another Krafty Chicks challenge, and this week I'm your hostess. This week's twist is SHIMMER & BLING! I just love shimmery pretties!
Shimmery cards are so hard for me to photo! So heads up, there may be ALOT of photo's here! lol. So I recently got a huge ol haul of goodies from Shimmerz Paints, and by "recently" I mean the about an hour before I made this card, lol! I went to carry my new pretties up to my loft, and then I just had to drool over the colors and then I just HAD to sort them all and next thing I knew water bowls and paint brushes were out and I was going to town!
So I started off with a piece of watercolor paper, I stamped my sentiment in some Gina K white pigment ink and embossed. Then I brushed on some COFFEE SHIMMERZ. I love the deep brown of this and the perfect shimmer to it!
Next up, I made the tag. That fab tag is the GRID STITCHED TAG (Reverse Confetti). Look at the tab at the top, it's also covered with COFFEE SHIMMERZ. The last bit of quick painting I did was the "whip", I used some TIDY WIDY Texturez… this stuff is FAB-U-LOUS!!!
Finally, I made the shaker cup. The dies for this are the COFFEE TO GO CUPS (SugarPea Designs). The shaker confetti is HOT COCOA Sequin Mix (Kat Scrappiness).
