4CC: Olive you!

Happy Thursday!  Thanks for popping over for another 4 Crafty Chicks challenge!  This week's challenge hostess is Miss Leanne and she has a fantastic photo inspiration for us…

Look at all of that yummy summer fruit!!!  I just LOVE visiting fruit stands and Farmer's Markets!!  My card for today doesn't have any fruit in it, but it does have veggies and that counts!!!  Let me also state that while this "beet stamp" is super cute, beets are just yucky!!!!  And so are a lot of green olives which is why mine is stamped in black ink 🙂

I used the FOODIE FUN stamp set (Reverse Confetti) for this card, and while I didn't use the dies (I cut them out myself) they are certainly now on my wishlist!  These were pretty easy to hand cut, but dies are so much quicker and just look so much better, lol.  I stamped the first beet image and realized that I really needed more veggies to fill the space so I stamped a 2nd beet.  I didn't want the sentiment twice so I just grabbed some Copics and colored over the whole beet… not bad!  I was really trying to keep the colors within the current Color Throwdown challenge palette (red, orange & blue).  Behind the veggies is an orange piece of patterned paper from the EVERY LITTLE BIT pad (Reverse Confetti).  I also used the Diamond Stripe Square die and orange cs

Those hearts across the bottom are from XOXO HEARTS die set (Reverse Confetti).  And a twine bow across the top to finish it off!
