4CC & 7KC: Keep Calm and Read On!

Happy "Back To School"!!!!  If that applies, I guess, lol.  My kiddo's are all "big" now but even when they were in school I was not one of the Mom's looking forward to school starting.  Well, the current challenge over at 7 Kids' Craft AND this week's 4 Crafty Chicks challenge BOTH happen to be, yup… BACK TO SCHOOL!  I don't really have many "school" themed stamps, but I have LOTS and LOTS of book/reading related stamps like this READ BETWEEN THE LINES set from SugarPea Designs.

I don't know how or why I didn't get the coordinating dies for this set, so I had to cut out the "bookworm" the old fashioned way, lol.  It really wasn't difficult, but boy do we get spoiled with dies!  Anyway, this was just a quick and simple card.

I stamped one of the sentiments in black on a tag.  I stamped a couple of book stamps on some white cs in colored inks then cut them out and popped them up on the tag.  I die cut a scalloped circle in white and stamped a couple of stars from the set with Gold ink and the "booklover" in purple.  My bookworm was colored in Copics and cut out, then popped up.  A couple of sequins and Voila! Finito!
