4CC: Hello Sunflowers

Happy Thursday!  Time for another 4 Crafty Chicks challenge!  While our challenges are always Anything Goes, we also like to add a little "twist" for you, if you chose to use it.  This week's "twist" is SUNFLOWERS!  

For my card this week I used the gorgeous Sunflower Power set from Power Poppy.  If you've not checked out this company, you simply must!!!!  Absolutely stunning stamps!

I colored up the sunflower with Copics, then cut it out.  I recently picked up the Nuvo Embossing pen and some Copper Blush ep and added just some spots of copper to the center of the larger flower.  I hope you can kind of see it, but I used the Stitched Rays cover plate (Reverse Confetti) on that watercolor background paper… just the perfect background for this sunflower!  I am so in love with how this card turned out!  I'm seriously thinking of printing the sunflower larger and painting it and framing it in my loft!  I'm also linking this up to the great challenge over at the Power Poppy blog, the Power of the Sun.
