4CC: Challenge #409, It’s Summer!!

Hey yall! Welcome to another 4 Crafty Chicks Challenge & happy Thursday!! This week's fab hostess is Miss Lori and her twist on our Anything Goes Challenge, is SUMMER!

I have to confess… when I finally found some time to make this card I was suffering from some serious Brain-fry!!! So I took the easy way… I have a stack of Reverse Confetti paper pads on my work table, I grabbed the one with some pink and other summer-y colors in it (the one I chose is called CHEERFUL & KIND… BOOM! Colors are picked, woo-hoo!! Both of the stamp sets that I used are retired, BUT they were so perfect for this challenge!!

I stamped the Fabulous Flamigos in FLAMINGO INK and BUMBLEBEE INK, then for the wing I did a little "double dipping" and used a smidge of both colors! I used the coordinating Flamingo dies to cut them out.

The sentiment is from a set called SHINE BRIGHT (retired 😦 ), I stamped it with black on some Vellum then colored in the "sunshine" with a Y15 Copic marker. See those flower clips? I buy those things like crazy because they are so stinking cute!! I seriously have over a 100 of them in various shapes… this may well be the first time I've actually used them, lol!
