4CC: #406, Love is in the Air

Happy Thursday and welcome back to another 4 Crafty Chicks (plus me) challenge! This week's hostess is Miss Leanne and her "twist" to our Anything Goes challenges is LOVE IS IN THE AIR!

For my card this week I had some fun water-scribbling with some Lindy's Magicals! The picture below shows the shimmer a bit better. I paired up the Heart to Heart stamp & die sets (Reverse Confetti). I inked up the stamp with some White Pigment ink (Gina K) & embossed with White ep on Navy cs (Reverse Confetti). The "xoxo" is from the XOXO Hearts die set.

I only used 1 color of Lindy's Magicals, Opal Sea Oats… LOVE the kind of rose/gold shimmer it has. Anyway, I went over the watercolor panel a few times, each time diluting the Lindy's a bit differently so the color was a tad different each layer. Then I mixed up some watercolors to make a "navy-ish" blue and flicked some splatters on there (to be honest, I got the "flicking" inspiration from a watercolor video on the RC Blog).
