Happy Thursday! Hope you are having a wonderful week so far. My baby boy is home from College for the summer (well part of it anyway, lol), we have a VERY family-full and fun loooonnnnnggggg weekend planned ahead of us and the weather here is gorgeous!! Oh yeah, and it was Hubby's birthday this week… good timing since the twist on this week's 4 Crafty Chicks challenge is MASCULINE BIRTHDAY! Of course you can still play along with an ANYTHING GOES theme, but why take the time to make a card for your stash?! Here's mine…
I used some of my new and fantastic goodies from Reverse Confetti! That "brick look" is from using the Blocked Out Square Panel die (Reverse Confetti)…. OMG!!! I love these cover plate-type dies!!!! The "red" paper behind it actually has a very faint pattern to it, it's from the Under the Umbrella paper pad (Reverse Confetti). The sentiments are from the new Birthday Wishes set (Reverse Confetti). I really struggle with "guy cards" because I feel so limited on what I can "dress them up with", I added a few buttons to this one and a bit of twine. Thanks to this month's Stock Your Stash challenge (Reverse Confetti) and this week's Color Throwdown for more inspiration on making this card! Thanks for popping by and be sure to visit the 4 Crafty Chicks challenge blog to see what the rest of the Chicks have created, and we hope you'll play along with us!
Dang this is a nice “Man” card great job! Happy Birthday to your Hubs! Have a great day!
