SPD: Flowers for Mom

Happy Mondayl!  I'm back with another SugarPea Designs Guest Post!!  Today I'm sharing with you the card I made for my Mommy for Mother's Day, using the FLOWERS FOR MOM stamp set & dies.  You know when you make a card, and you are just so excited and in love with the outcome that you just sit and stare at it and you don't want to give it away?  THIS is one of those cards!!  I wish you could see it in person!!  Luckily, I have an amazing Mommy who will be as in LOVE with this card as I am!

Once again, I used the SUGAR & SPICE paper pad.  The heart panel piece is actually one of the papers in the pad.  I trimmed the edges of a bit and then cut around the bottom of the heart and lower flowers so it would "over hang" the Pink Chevron paper.  LOVE the way it turned out!!!  Oh, something you should know about me… white scares the snot out of me!  Seriously we do NOT get along, lol!!  So in the white space of the heart I took the "love you", "Mom" and the double hearts stamps and kind of splattered them around…whew! lol

I also used the Mom die from the MOM WORDS Sugar Cut, it's cut out on a gray floral paper from my pad… it sits well on the pink chevron paper!

For the flower vase and flowers piece, I used the dies and then stamped the coordinating flower parts & vase, then I popped this up with Sticky Thumbs so it would "pop" a little. If ya look closely you might be able to see, I used some Glitter pen on the leaves and purple flowers just to give them a bit of shimmer.

Of course, I also decorated the inside, because I had leftover die cut flowers, and more flower pieces I wanted to play with, lol.  I kept the inside simple and relatively flat, haha.  Well that's it for me, thanks for visiting!!  See ya next week!!
