It's FINALLY here!!!!!! I'm this month's Guest Designer over at SugarPea Designs!!!! I was over-the-moon excited when I was asked to be a Guest! So many great sets to play with, but for my first Guest Post I grabbed the Watt's Up set. Currently it's the Sweet Incentive set (free when you spend $60 or more), but I believe that I read that'll be available for sale later this month!
I stamped the lights with a Charcoal pigment ink and used some clear EP to emboss, it gives it a great "metal" look!! The hearts in the "bulb" are just colored with an RV25 Copic, but for the yellow "brightness" I used some Polychromos Pencils. You could just as easily use Copics for a similar look, but I've been dying to bust out my pencils, lol. That patterned paper is from the Sugar & Spice paper pad, also from SugarPea. One of the things I LOVE about these paper pads is the size! The paper was already close to the size I wanted, I trimmed off a little, but it seems like with 6×6 pads there's so much of the paper I just throw away after trimming it down :-(.
For the inside, I stamped the sentiment and light bulb in black and just quickly colored it in with Copics. To balance out the top I added the Heart Beat SugarCut die. I absolutely LOVE this set!!! Thanks for popping by, I'll be sharing my SPD Guest posts here every Monday in May… hope to see you again!!!
