So I'm still trying to build up the nerve to "throw my hat" in the CFS Challenge DT call, but one of the "requirements" is to play along in their current challenge. Easy peasy, right? The challenge is NO DIES ALLOWED, again, easy peasy, right? NOT!!! Holy snickerdoodles! I love how the card turned out, but do you know how many times I started to walk over to my Dies?? M-A-N-Y!! lol
I paired up the current CAS-ual Friday Challenge with the current CAS(e) this Sketch, and I used the WALLFLOWERS set. I have a dear friend who's recently lost her Mom, so this will be perfect! I colored all of the "open" flowers with Copics, then the solid flower I just added a bit of pink to the tips. I really do struggle with "white space" (in my cards, my home, etc.) and it seemed that that upper right corner just wasn't pulling it's weight, so I colored a wood chip arrow with one of the flower colors and Voila!! LOVE it! This really was supposed to be something simple, after all it's a sympathy card. Welp, that's it for now! Thanks for popping by, and if you haven't seen it yet, you really should check out the CAS-ual Friday's Challenge DT Call (Michelle is a doll to "work" for!). Hope to see you again soon!
Super pretty take on the sketch!
