KKS: Kraft-tember challenge… Don’t forget the inside!

Hey yall!  I'm the final Kraft-Tember challenge hostess on the KKS Friends fb page.  My challenge is… DON'T FORGET THE INSIDE!  While I frequently forget to "do-up" the inside of my cards when I make them, I really think they look so much more "finished" when I do!  So today, let's finish up those insides!  If you're laying in the KKS Kraft-tember, fell free to grab one of your cards that you made earlier today for one of our other challenges and just finish up the inside.  Of course you can always start a new card too!!

For my card I grabbed the BUDS & BLOOMS set.  I wanted to use my NEW Clean Color markers for this card (my first time really playing with them), so I stamped my flowers on watercolor paper.  I had so much fun coloring with these markers, I think I'll be using them some more for peeks next week!!

Mostly I colored these flowers by blending the markers with each other… there's very little "water brushing" on these… just a tad.  The larger leaf/vine cluster is stamped with some Distress Ink, and the smaller leaves are stamped and colored with a couple of Copics.  It's a little hard to see, but I did add some clusters of Stardust dots on the white… just a little shimmer.  That rhinestone cluster is on the inside of card.

I think you can see it best on the coral and the darker blue flowers, but I used some clear Wink of Stella on the edges of some of the petals… again just to add some texture and "light".  On the top panel, I didn't want the Coral cs from the top panel to be against the bottom/inside of the card so I added some Washi on it… it's the same polka dot Washi I used to decorate the inside.

Finally, the inside… that floral Washi is actually Fabric Washi and is FABULOUS!  I'm sure I didn't realize when I bought it that it was fabric… but YAY!!!!!  Pretty sure it's from Hobby Lobby or Michaels.  Anyway, I just cut a "tail" on the end and ran it up to the top of the card base.  The polka dot Washi is just cut at an angle and over laps just a bit.  The sentiment is also from the BUDS & BLOOMS set.  I had LOTS of fun making this card… it's been FAR too long since I've stamped!!!  I'll need to do something about that 🙂  Be sure to head over tot he KKS Friends FB page for all of the challenges, watch or re-watch Kimmie and the sillies' video's from the day and don't forget to share your challenge entries!
