CFS: It’s MY big reveal!! and a NEW Challenge!

I have been overwhelmed with giddyness to start on this adventure since I first heard from Michele!  Some of you may have heard, but Michele from CAS-ual Friday's Stamps is starting a new challenge!!  So for those of us folks that break out in to a cold sweat and FREAK OUT over the term "CAS"… we're starting up the Cas-UAL Chic (utterly adorable layers) challenge!!!!  I am so excited about this NEW challenge and cannot put in to words how elated I am to be working with Michele and the CAS-UAL Chic team!!!

Our first challenge is EMBOSSING, embossing of ANY kind!!!  I did take the somewhat easy road for this one, but I have a couple of other projects started with other embossing techniques!  I'll share those soon with ya.  So for my card today, my embossing is on that pink "X O" paper.  I used the Mon Ami set, and grabbed the smaller flower, stamping it in some Clear Embossing ink (Tim  Holtz), then just added some clear EP… I really just wanted to tie in my background paper to my main element a little more.

For the main part of my card I stamped the larger lotus flower and colored it in with some copics.  Then used the Mon Ami Fleur die.  I popped the flower on a tag just to make it "pop" a bit more.  This card is for my neighbor and the sentiment is just PERFECT for her!!  Well that's about it from me today, I will have some more EMBOSSED cards to share over the next couple of weeks, but in the mean time get your stamps inky and go have some fun!!  Remember, ANY embossing method will work here and don't forget to link up your creations on the NEW Cas-UAL Chic blog!
