KKS: June peeks Day 1, Fintastic Friends & DS204

SQUUUUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! KKS PEEKS ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!! Yea, we're just a beensy bit excited about this release 😉 Hey yall! Welcome to Kraftin Kimmie June peeks, and the final Deconstructed Sketch (insert VERY sad face here), but I'll get to that below! Today the Krafty Girls & Guests are peeking a fabulous summer set from Annie called FIN-TASTIC FRIENDS.

For my card today I decided to try some watercoloring! I used the Ranger watercolor paper and I used the "toothy" side (as opposed to the smooth side). I also used a couple of copics here and there (her mouth, eyes). To add a little dmension to her "lower half" I added some while dots with a Sharpie White Paint pen.

The seaweed is a file from the Silhouette store, I also added some Sharpie White Paint pen to this. For the sentiment I stamped it on some thick velum. I used Gina K's Black Pigment ink and some black embossing powder. I used a tag die, added a bow & some Doodlebug Sprinkles from the Kraftin Kimmie store.

I also used some Turquoise and Olive Green Stickles for "bubbles". If you look closely you can see that I also did some "sponging" of the sea all around her. I sooo LOVE the way she turned out… this one may find a permanent home on my shelf in my loft :). Well that's it from me, have fun hopping around!!

So, did ya catch that comment above about this being the LAST Deconstructed Sketch?!? Yeah, I'm super sad about that too! But I do wish Jen all of the best in her new endeaver, and want to thank her for all of the "mojo boosts" she and her sketches have given me over the years!
