Welcome back to another day of Krafty peeks!  Today the Krafty Girls & Guests are inking up another Sentiment set from our own Becky called SINCERE SYMPATHY.  Honestly, none of us likes making sympathy cards, but we sure feel alot worse when we need one and don't have one around and nothing to make one with!  I wanted the card to stay simple but still feel "heartfelt".  I wanted a bow around the roses, again I wanted simple and not "frilly" so I used some basic white 1/16" satin ribbon.  I kept the sentiment panel simple, but not plain.  After putting the card together it still seemed a little too "blah" so I added just a few pearls.  But it still seemed a little "empty"… see (below) what I mean??

IMG_2413So I took my .5 Copic Multiliner in Black and just put a few teeny black dot clusters "here and there".  PERFECT!!!!!!!!!  I also "popped up" the sentiment panel and the white/green panel.  Simple but sweet!  and certainly NOT plain or boring!

IMG_2416I've posted a picture of the set below so  you can see all of the sentiments in this lovely set, but be sure to hop around to the rest of the Krafty Girls & Guests blogs to see the beautiful things they've created with this set!  Thanks for popping by, happy hopping and hope to see you again soon!

  1. Love this card – great ideas for making a card less ‘blah’. those little black dots are perfect for ‘lifting’ the card and making it so awesome!!!

  2. Sometimes it’s tiny things that take a card from “blah” to wow. Just as your lack dots show! Absolutely gorgeous card!
