KKS Challenge #279, Pretty in Pink!

Hey yall!  HAPPY WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!  It's Saturday and it's time for another Kraftin Kimmie challenge!  This week's hostess is Krafty Girl Deborah and the challenge is PRETTY IN PINK!  I've been really wanting to get back in to Scrapping, so I decided to make another Scrapbook page.  DD is getting married in several months, and since the challenge was PINK, I made this page about her.  I also used the Kraftin Kimmie May sketch (the sketch is towards the bottom of the post).

The Playtime Lulu set has the cutest images, and this little Dress Up Lulu is one of my faves!!  Lulu has a few touches of bling on her stole, necklaces and hair ties.  I outlined several places around the pictures with some Gunsmoke Stickles… it's shimmery but a little more contrast than a silver glitter.  I also grabbed a chipboard star and covered it with some pink paper from Enchanted, then coated a chipboard "V" with some yummy silver glitter!  It was kind of dark-ish I guess when I took these photo's but it really does shimmer a good bit!

The sentiment on the tag is from the Rain or Shine set. and that paper is from the  Simple Stories Enchanted pad.  Of course the tag needed LOTS of pretty pink and silky ribbon 🙂

And of course Cheerleader Lulu from the Lil Athletes set!  I colored her up in Sissy's old team colors, Go TE!!  Her uniform is trimmed in Sakura Stardust pen for shimmer, and there are streaks of it also in her Poms and shoe laces.  For the "banner/tail" pieces… I used the banner from Tag Me (RC), cut 4 of them and then hand wrote "where did the time go?"  Over the lower 3rd of the page I used Vellum, just so everything would "pop" a little more.
