KKS April Release: I {heart} COFFEE!

Hey yall!  Time for Kraftin Kimmie April peeks!!  I guess today is kind of a "cheater peek" because this is the same stamp set that was in the limited addition Coffee Kits (which are now gone), BUT Kimmie will be releasing this FABULOUS I {heart} COFFEE! set this weekend with the rest of the April stamps!!!!  Wahoo!  For my card today I had some fun with some new goodies I've gotten.  First off Krafty Girl Danielle sent me some YUMMY chalkboard type paper and a couple of great ink pads… the pads weren't in a color I was looking for for this card, so I used some POOL Impress Fresh Ink (have I mentioned before how much FUN this ink is?!?)  Anywho… I grabbed one of the sentiments from the COFFEE SET and stamped it randomly all over that Chalkboard paper… LOVE the look!  I did add a splash of Clear EP and heat set it.  That adorable blue "clothes pin" came in a Secret Sis package I recently got… YUP, I've just been hangin' in the loft lookin' at all the new pretties 😉

You can't really see it, but the large coffee cup is paper pieced a light pink (all of the papers are from the JUST SAYIN' pad by MME).  The sentiment on the tag is also from the set, but I "broke it up" to fit on the tag.  I went over the "I" and "COF" with a Black Wink of Stella Brush… it really does shimmer IRL.  The heart is colored with R22, and I added some White Sharpie Paint Pen polka dots. The layout for this card is also the APRIL KRAFTY SKETCH (see below).  Well that's all I've got for ya today, have fun hopping along!  See you again tomorrow!

  11. Wow!!! The black really makes everything pop! I love how you used the sentiment repeatedly like chalk on a blackboard! And the banner is a great touch! Super card!!
