Happy Wednesday! Happy Thanksgiving-EVE!!! Happy thanksgiving-baking-and-prep-day! AND, Happy Kraftin Kimie WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY! For todays creation I decided to make a "TODAY bookmark" for my NEW planner! My friend Kimmie got me addicted to all of the planner cute-ness recently, I'll do another post soon on my planner, but today let's look at my CUTE bookmark!!!
I colored up Lexi from the Candy Cane Kisses set and cut her out. She's popped up on a teeny envelope I made, the flap is left open, but this allows me a place to stash small things/papers I may want handy. The pop-ups on Lexi are just under her legs so the opening to the envelope is clear.
Here it is in my planner. This one is "naked" but the reason for the width, etc. is so I can fit my checklist post-it's (see 2 photo's down). I love this idea because I can change the "bookmar" with the seasons, my moods, etc.
The banner at the top is stamped with one of the sentiments from the set. and I added a tab at the top. I don't need words on it, just something sticking up to quickly find my place. I added a little Christmas sticker.
Here's the "bookmark" by itself, see the check list? I LOVE these! and having it on here is perfect as it doesn't block any days on the calendar page and I can carry it over from one week to the next!
