Well I've decided that I need a new calendar in my loft, ok I'd decided that awhile ago, but I've just had the brilliant idea of using Lexi, Lulu & Lucas images from Kraftin Kimmie and just in time for a Wonderful Wednesday post!  lol.  I am still hopeful that we will get snow some winter day and what better way to beg the "Gods" than with this cute Lucas skiing the slopes?!  This is from the Have an ICE Day set.

My calendar page is 6" x 6" and hangs from a Calendar Frame I got from Taylored Expressions years ago.  For me it's the perfect size to make the calendar big enough for my old eyes to see, and still plenty of room to decorate 🙂  The LET IT SNOW and snowflakes are from Silhouette.  I added some red, silver and blue sequins from Neat & Tangled, a Brown sheer/satin ribbon bow, PTI Button & twine

I colored Lucas with Copics and popped him up with some Dimensionals, then fussy cut him.

For the calendar itself, I couldn't find a 2015 calendar that I could print and cut out so I turned to the Silhouette Online Store!  I used a Calendar Grid, then grabbed the months in a font I liked along with the coordinating numbers set.  The month and numbers were intended to be cut files, but I just did a FILL COLOR and LINE COLOR to match my papers and then changed the line from CUT to NO CUT, and then printed them out on the printer.  The best part of this set up, while it is a little bit of work, the calendar is CUTE (most important of all), but I can make it for any year, etc. I want and I don't have to wait for someone to release one!  All of the white grids are cut out individually, yea, I know DUMB!!!!  Next month I may try something different, because this was a little tedious, though I do REALLY like the look so we'll see.  Well that's it for my January 2015 Calendar page, check back often for a peek at my other calendar and for subsequent months for this one 🙂  In the mean time, be sure to pop by the Kraftin Kimmie blog for the deets on this week's Wonderful Wednesday Challenge, some Krafty Girl inspiration, and the scoop on winnin' ya some Krafty Rubbah!
