DS150, Mother’s Day

Well I sat down in my VERY CLEAN LOFT (squeeeeee!) to work on today’s DS card and kind of went a little “craft-crazy”! Ya know when you sit down and go through sets to see what you’re gonna use? Well I realized I don’t make my Mommy cards very often (like FOR her, to send to her) and this set, Because of You was PERFECT! Except that , DUH! the rest of yall are gonna get to see it before it even gets to my Mom 😦 Ah, well. On the plus side I have the startings of about 4 cards and 3 projects!! I LOVE being in my loft, especially when it’s clean!!! I won’t mention how it looked when I finished crafting today, *sigh*.

As I was making this card it occurred to me that I don’t often mix my “stamp companies”, meaning that I would normally stick with Verve dies, etc. on this card… but I pulled up my big girl panties and MIXED ’em up!! I really love the way the tag came out, especially with the touch of burlap in the back… I think I’m developing a deep, deep crush on burlap!

Somehow I wandered to the inside of the card and got a little crafty in there too! I really do LOVE doing card insides… it just looks so much more “finished’! Well that’s my Mother’s Day card using DS150… hope it arrives in the mail before my Mommy reads this post 😉 **Oh and I’ll try to get back on here with a ‘supplies list’**
