There She Goes: October peeks, Give Thanks

Give Thanks Blog Hop Challenge

Our second day of blog hop challenges for October, and we have a new set from our other new illustrator, Chaitali! Are you ready to Give Thanks?

Today we're playing with the Give Thanks set!  While this set works fabulously with yesterdays Fall Fun set, I've decided to use Give Thanks on it's own.

For my background piece I grabbed 4 fun and Fall-ish ink colors (Memento Dew Drops in Canteloupe, Potters Clay, Peanut Brittle & Pistachio) and randomly stamp away.  I LOVED the colors and the look of this I nearly stopped here, lol.

Now for the focal piece, I FINALLY made a Medallion (I say FINALLY because while I LOVE the look of them, I'd yet to gather my bravery and try one!), this one is from the Silhouette Online store (scalloped with hearts).  I stamped my sentiment on my scroll and added a couple of Acorns (yup, also from this fabby set!) stamped in Rich Cocoa Memento Dew Drop, and voila!  uber-cool medallion done!  and I added some ribbon (cause you've just gotta have ribbon)!  I just love the look of this… you could also adapt the shape a little for some AWESOME Turkey Day Place Cards šŸ™‚

Our second release from new designer, Chaitali, will have you ready for all your fall cards. The simple clean and simple images, and sentiments will help you create gorgeous cards for fall.

Give Thanks is a 3×4 set that includes a total of 7 stamps and will sell for $9.00.

  18. Well Angii…I LOVE your medallion and I hope you loved making it!!! They really are cool accent pieces to add to a card, especially on this beautiful Fall card, you’ve created.
