Today was my turn to create something for There She Goes' ABC Friday… so I made a pretty for our library! We just put in wall-to-wall bookcases in our library and finding things I like to go on top of the cases (some are low and under windows) is not as easy as one would think. So I did what most of us crafters would do… I made something! lol. I grabbed an empty picture frame and got busy!
I recently got some rolls of burlap from the local art store to play with, so I cut off a piece and anchored it down with some antique-y brads I've had for awhile. For the most part I stamped directly on to the burlap, I just LOVE look!! The red stamped heart is from Mixed Media Backgrounds and the words are from Handwritten.
I wanted a little dimension so I used the Jotted Heart die (from Verve) and then stamped the arrow from Mixed Media Backgrounds on to some white cs and cut it out. The arrow is adhered with some pop dots. This would make a great gift for someone and with the variety of words in the Handwritten set, you can cover several peeps and several occassions!
