Hey yall! Today is the first day of peeks for the July release at Kraftin Kimmie!!! Today I used the You’re a Peach set to create some place cards and some Jam labels! Both sets being peeked today are designed by the fabulous Nicole Aspinal!!
For the placecards, I stamped each fruit image twice so I could “pop up” the fruits in the front of each. For the names I printed them up and then used a punch. We’ll be using these for a summer BBQ next month 🙂
I also made some Jam/Butter labels! For these I didn’t want to color them with markers and I just so happened to get a BIG envelope of Washi Tape in the mail so I went Washi-crazy!! I put some Washi tape on my paper and then stamped each image on top. Because the ink stayed wet I just added some clear Ep and heat set it… perfect! This actually helped the black ink show up better and look more “crisp”. The images still looked a little flat to me so I added some Copic “highlights” in places (black seeds, leaves, etc.)
