Happy Monday!  Hope you had a wonderful weekend 🙂  This month the Just Inklined Hop hostess, Joyce, has chosen "Out of the Box" as our theme… leave a part of your image OUT OF THE BOX!  If you didn't come here from Tammy's blog, you will want to head to the start of the hop >here< so as not to miss anything!  I tend to do that on a good number of my projects but as I was making this card, I realized I don't often leave the "outsider" on the bottom.  For my "outsider" orchid I cut out a second Orchid and popped it up from the original image.

I have to say that having that bottom flower hanging out really sets off the card.  This image is called Wild Orchids and is available both in the Just Inklined store as well as on their Best of CD!  I LOVE the Lime green, brown and white color combo.  I just LOVE Orchids, and one of my favorites is very pale cream with brown in the center.  For the centers of mine I added the brown "specs" and then went over the whole center with a Copic Colorless Blender… it softened the brown a little as well as gave it a little "blurred" look.  Today while poking around I saw that the Designed To Color peeps were showing off and playing around with adding dots to their backgrounds, so I decided to try it out… I rather like the look!  Well that's about all I've got for you, so if you're ready to hop on, I think the brilliant Miss Jak is waiting for you!  Don't forget to leave a little love on everyone's blogs as there are 2 secret spots giving you a double the chances to win 🙂 Happy hopping 🙂
