My Time Made Easy September Group Post… Something Sweet

Today the My Time Made Easy team is showing off both of the new templates for September, and boy do we have some SWEET ideas!  You can see my post here for my project with the NEW Apothecary Jar template.  Today I used the Mush-Room House template but made it a lamp 🙂  Years ago we inherited a Milk Glass lamp from DH's Grandparents, while mine is pink I chose to use the Blooming with Elegance paper… I LOVE the blues & green!!  And since we needed to fill it with something sweet, I opted for a little Hot Cocoa pick me up!  I know it's still summer, but I am so looking forward to Fall and sippin' some Hot Cocoa all snuggled in a cozy chair.  The marshmallows fit snuggly in the bottom of the lamp and the Cocoa fits perfectly in the top!

I wanted to add a little "pull chain" so I grabbed some Silver Cording and attached a charm to the end 🙂

I am so in love with the Pom-pom ribbon, and this green was the perfect finishing touch!  To be honest… while this would make an adorable gift (imagine coupling it with a book!) I think this little beauty is for ME!  It will look wonderful in my studio 🙂  You could even cut a small circle out of the bottom and place the lamp over a small battery operated candle!!  Don't forget to visit the rest of the team as I am sure they've got some fabulous gift giving ideas for you today!!
