A Magnolia CAS

IMG_9065This week's Speedy Fox & Friends challenge on the Mark's Finest Papers blog, is to make a CAS card.  CAS is soooooo hard for me!  I mean I look at them in galleries and on blogs and they are gorgeous, but to make one… I really struggle!!  Well here's my attempt, I truely intended to focus on the wonderful Magnolia (from a new set by Mark's Finest Papers to be released this week), but when the card was done, it just needed… ribbon!  Yes, I confess, I'm a ribbon junkie 😦  Sorry, lol.  It was so much fun coloring in this wonderful Magnolia (and I soooo needed some coloring therapy!!).  I can't believe how many yellow copics I used on an almost white looking flower, and if you look closely you can see the Spica glitter I added to the stamens in the middle… I have to say I was quite happy with how this turned out.

And because I can't leave CAS well enough alone, I just had to do the inside too… but I stuck to the CAS theme there as well.
