For the next couple of days the My Time Made Easy team is mixing the old with the new! I love the fall! I love all of the warm and coziness of everything (fireplaces, big blankets, hot cocoa) and the smells of fall are amongst my faves! Lately, I have been playing with making "butters", Apple Butter, Caramel Apple Butter, Pear Butter and Spiced Pumpkin Butter. They taste amazing and make my house smell yummy!!! Today I am making little gifts to leave on a few of my neighbors' porches (tune in on Friday to see the 2nd half).
I started off with the Trendy Tool Tote template and some Fall Foliage paper. This template is so easy to put together! For the handle I wrapped white ribbon around it (I got this idea from my friend, Kristin's blog post here) and attached a double bow. For the front, my sentiment is from the Yummy Sentiments set. I used Gimp to make it the size I wanted and then grabbed a couple of images from the What's Cookin' set to make a great label/tag.
For the jars I used a Mitt from the What's Cookin' set, printed it on my colored card stock and then wrote on the back 🙂 Such a great label!! I made 4 sets of these to leave on my neighbors' doorsteps, on Friday I'll show you the 2nd half of the gift 🙂
Tune in tomorrow for my November Calendar page! Stop by and visit Katie, Lauren and Lisa for their "Old with the New" gift ideas!!
