June Year in Review group Post, Made Easy!

IMG_8631

Welcome to the June Year in Review Group Post, today the whole DT is showing some of their favs from the past year, and this is one of mine.  Last summer I fell in love with making my own Jams right about the time Lauren came out with the AWESOME Well Preserved goodies.  Today Hubby & I went to a rather new Farmers Market, the fruits and veggies smelled AMAZING!  We got some Strawberries, Raspberries and Blackberries so I could make some Triple Berry Jam… YUMMMMMMM!  I am telling you, if you think making your own Jam is too hard, you need to try it!  Easy peasy and soooooo worth it!!  I was able to make a double batch, plenty for a few peeps in the office and our house (the kids LOVE this jam!!).

I used the Fresh Popped template to hold my jar, it is the perfect size for my 8 oz jar.  Along the scallops I used my Crop-a-dile to punch some holes.  The sentiment on the box, "Sending you Sunshine" is from the Sensational Sentiments set and is perfect for a Jar of Summer Sunshine 🙂  The Well Preserved set comes with several fruit words so I was able to add all three of the berries in my jam on my jar.  The paper on the bottom of the carton is from the Preserve It Oranges and Strawberries pack.

I created a small-ish 4×4 note card to go with the jars.  This jar and the sentiment both come from the Well Preserved set as well (this is such a full set, it's awesome!).  Now I need to make about 4 more of these sets for the people at work.  Next on my cooking list is some yummy Apple Butter, some Pear Butter and some Peach Butter. Mmmmmm

Thanks for stopping by, don't forget to visit the rest of the My Time Made Easy DT to see some of their favs.  And stop by tomorrow for my June Calendar page (that is a few days late).
