A “Fortunate” release… Made Easy!

As I write this post, Beijing is ringing in the New Year (I'm watching it on the TV :))!! So first off I want to wish you all a safe, prosperous and VERY happy New Year!!  Today is release day over at My Time Made Easy and Lauren and Catherine have out done themselves again!!!!  This month, Lauren is releasing this adorable So Fortunate stamp set and So Fortunate template as well as a super cute What's my Fortune? Cookie cut file, oh and wait until you see all of the papers… OMG!!!

For my card I used the plaid paper from the Plum Pretties paper pack.  The beautiful Cherry Blossom branch and Chinese symbol are both from the So Fortunate stamp set.

For my So Fortunate box, I took the gorgeous Cherry Blossom paper form the Plum Pretties paper pack and sized it to 5×7 and printed it twice.  This scaled the design down enough to be able to use more of it on the panels of the box.  I also cut a couple of small rectangles of the Plum Plaid paper for the top of the box… just to break up some of that vanilla space.  I used Trendy Tags set 4, for my Tag and scaled it down a good bit.  This is such a great set, perfect for almost any holiday!  Make sure you check out the rest of the teams' stuff (you just have got to see the other papers!!!!).

  4. GORGEOUS Tangii – love the purple, the pearls and the layout of your card. I also like the tiny clip you used to hold the handle closed – clever!!! Totally inspiring project. Hope your new year is filled with laughter, love, hugs, smiles and lots of good health! Happy New Year!
