Gift packaging made QUICK & EASY (and FABULOUS!)

Today is the first day of My Time Made Easy peeks for the November release!  I am so tickled about this release and I just can't wait to share with you!  VERY frequently I am caught at the last minute needing some gift packaging, and it's too late to run to the store and often I am just too tired to run out; so my goal for this project was "how can I make this QUICK, EASY but still look fabulous?"  I also wanted to JUST USE THINGS I HAD ON HAND (cause if it's last minute you likely didn't get to go shopping for cute embellies, etc.)… with these things in mind, here's the result…

IMG_8221 The paper is digi paper from MTME (Brisk Breeze, avail. Nov. 1st), and the template is Star of the Show (also available Nov. 1st).  Printing the paper and cutting out the template on my Cricut did NOT take long at all.I wrapped a ribbon around the whole box and tied a BIG, FAT bow, then tied another skinner bow around that (the blue), add a button with some skinny ribbon through it and VOILA!

Of course it needed a tag, so I used the Trendy Tags 2, sized it to fit my box and cut all 3 layers (yup, it comes with layers!!).  I dressed up my tag with some brads and added the cute little Gingerbread girl from The Gingersnap's stamp set (also available Nov. 1st).  I dressed 'Ginger' in some "candy" pearls and she's ready to go!  I will be filling this goodie box with some home made cookies for one of the guys at work 🙂  Helpful hint: I cut the ribbon on the back and reconnected it with tape, this way I can remove the tape to open the box lid and not need to untie that pretty bow! 🙂  So quick, so easy, limited supplies FABULOUS gift package!!  Some of the other MTME girlies have some eye-candy for you too, make sure you visit

  9. Oh my gosh, Tangii! This is FANTASTIC! Seriously, girl! I can’t get over how striking this looks…you ROCKED my paper (and to think, I was going to ditch this collection altogether…so glad I didn’t). Also love how you made the cute little tag (and delighted that you love the layers I added this time)…the gingersnap looks so cute! Those ribbons with the simple button embellishment make such a lovely finishing touch! GREAT project gf!!
