Thanksgiving Place cards… in a pinch!

IMG_8172

I am going to use these as place card holders for Thanksgiving, and write the name on the tag on the box.  I'll fill the box with some candies or candles or something.  I used the Pinch Me! template and made it look like an Acorn 🙂  I used a Bazzill Dotted Swiss cardstock for the bottom to give it some texture, and some Prism on the top for the "top" of the nut.  All of the images are from the Thankful set (by our own awesome Catherine!).  For the 'Thankful' tag (don't you LOVE that font?) I stamped the word and then cut it out with a rectangle scalloped nestie, then just folded it in half.  I stamped my pumpkins and acorns in colored Vivid inks and then colored them in with my Copics, which I've never done, but I sooooooo love the look!  This honestly was very quick and easy to make once I decided what to do… I could easily whip 8 or 10 out for Thanksgiving Dinner without stressing ;)!  Well that's it for me, today is a group post for MTME (kinda like a group hug, but with eye-candy!) so head over and visit the rest of the group!  Thanks for stopping by.

  3. How perfect for Thanksgiving! I love how you colored these pumpkins and made matching place cards. One of these days I’m going to get a button on a bow to look as good as yours too. 🙂
