I made this Birthday gift card holder for one of the girls in the office. Her Christmas card to my family had Dragons w/ Santa hats, so when it came time for her Birthday, I knew this image form Paper Makeup Stamps would be PERFECT! The warts on the tentacle are done with white Liquid Applique (so perfect!!), and I went over the ribbon on the present with a Spica Glitter pen to give it a little dimension. I also recently learned that Sheri is almost as much of a button junkie as I am, so I just had to add a few on here. Here is the inside.. –>
I got the inside done and realized I didn't have anywhere for everyone to sign the card, so I added the white piece and since I REALLY have issues with plain white, I added some trim to the top and the bottom. I did an accoridian fold to give us some room (there are a handful of us that needed to have room to sign the card).
The accordian isn't real easy to see, but you get the idea. This card was so much fun to make… Thanks Sheri for being YOU, huge Happy Birthday Hugs!
