Blogger’s Challenge #89, a color challenge

IMG_6348

This week's Blogger's Challenge was to use Sage, Brown and a Neutral of our choice.  This card was more about playing around and trying some stuff.  I inked the image using my Stampin' Up! markers, coloring the leaves Soft Sage and the tree in Chocolate Chip.  Then I used a VersaMarker, Heat & Stick and some fine cosmo glitter (from SU!) to jazz up the leaves.  I was having waaaayyyyy too much fun with that Heat & Stick & glitter so I grabbed some brads from my stash, and did them up with some brown glitter…fun!  My hubby wouldn't let me glitter anything else around the house so I guessed it was time to put the card together.  Very simple layout and card, but like I said, it was more about trying some stuff out :)  Thanks for stopping by!  Hope to see you again soon!

By the way…this image is from Paper Makeup Stamps.  Katie is having a Design Team call (deadline is this coming weekend).  You can see the DT Call details here.

Supplies (all supplies are Stampin' Up unless otherwise noted):

Paper: To the Nines dsp, Sage Shadow, Chocolate Chip and Whisper White cardstocks
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Accessories: Heat & Stick, Fine Cosmo Glitter, markers, brads (misc. vendor), small oval punch, Chocolate Chip Double Stiched ribbon
