Bloggers Challenge #87, An Inspiration

IMG_6315

Happy Friday!!!!!!!! Well this was certainly a challenge for me for two reasons, first of all I don't have any background, etc. stamps this style and 2nd Really Rust is the hardest color for me!  I also wanted to use a set I just got from Paper Makeup Stamps (yup, PMS).  I apologize to Katie for not doing this set justice, my next card will be better, promise!! ;-)  Well I got out my Texturz Background plates from Stampin' Up and used it for my backgroud, but it was still too faint looking so I rubbed my Really Rust ink pad over it…that was better!  My favorite part of the bedcover (see inspiration piece below) was the solid color strip along the outer edge of the cover, so I added a solid strip as well (funny what a big difference a small thing can make).  I really love the look of double-matting (thanks to Gina K!).  Well this was certainly a humbling challenge, thanks Lisa!!!  Hope you are having a wonderful Friday!  Come back soon and see what I make with my adorable Fairy stamp from PMS.  Thanks for stopping, hope to see you again soon!  Oh yeah, in case you want to play along here is the inspiration piece.
